When news broke sometime ago that the majority shareholder of Impossible Project was also now the majority shareholder of Polaroid, rumors exploded. Our prediction? That the Impossible was indeed possible, Impossible Project was Polaroid. Not the pale version of the brand we’d come to know in recent years, but a rebirth of the instant film legend.
Now it seems that this is a reality. Impossibles site (http://impossible-project.com) now forward directly to (https://us.polaroidoriginals.com) and the announcement teased by Polaroids site and social accounts turned out to be just what we hoped for, a brand new camera, the Instant One Step 2.
The Polaroid One Step 2 works with all types of 600 and I-type films. Features include an upgraded flash and lens as well a battery life of 60 hours, and the I-type film doesn’t require batteries, whereas the 600 film has the battery pack in the film cart.
